KUALA LUMPUR: After a month-long journey full of challenges and even natural disasters, “Muar Boy” Wee Meng Chee and his three friends finally made it home to celebrate the country's 51st birthday.
Wee, the controversial song writer of Negarakuku and his friends – Yap Chin Chern, Hew Teck Choy and Chia Wei Gang – had embarked on a journey from Hong Kong to film a documentary on Malaysians living overseas beginning July 31.
They arrived in Malaysia on Friday.The group travelled through Hong Kong, Macau, China, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand and collected congratulatory messages from Malaysians to be featured in the documentary.
The video is their gift to the country as it commemorates its 51st National Day.
